BIG CREEK | Lily

Before I went to Big Creek, I felt nervous and excited. The day that we arrived, we cleaned out vans. It was cool. Then we read the Bible and after that we played on the playground. Then we took showers and went to bed. My favorite part was when we painted nails at the Nursing Home. I learned to put others before me. It was hard to clean out vans. In the morning Kevin played music before breakfast. After breakfast we started packing our lunches to go to the food bank. When it was lunch time we ate at the coffee shop and we got milkshakes. I helped build refrigerators. The next day we cleaned the roof scraps and put them in a truck but dust kept getting in our eyes so we picked weeds. Then we got cleaned up to go to the nursing home to paint nails. After dinner, we played softball and I was pitcher. After we got our PJS on we played Uno and Taco Goat Cheese Pizza. I would want to go back to Big Creek. How about you? I want to go back because it was fun and good experience to serve the Lord.
