Adelphoi Prayer Partners

Do you have a heart to model the love of Jesus to at-risk youth in our region? Since December 2021, Charter Oak Church has had a Prayer Partner ministry with the young men in residential care at the Adelphoi Village in Latrobe.

Great News: we are now expanding to the young ladies' facilities as well. We are looking for Prayer Partners; ladies and couples to pair with one of the girls whom they will pray daily, send letters/gifts and participate in a quarterly Saturday visit.

Prayer Partners are paired with one of the girls for whom they pray daily, send monthly letters/gifts, and participate in a quarterly Saturday visit, where the Prayer Partners engage in conversation, share a meal, play games, and hear a message from the Frye Farm Director of Student Ministry.

If you think this could be you please contact us!

Ready Response Team

James 1:27 "to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world"

As we are to live into James 1:27 here at Charter Oak Church, we want to be available to serve our families when called upon. We have created this Response Ready group to fill in the quick request for assistance with small projects that our church families may need from time to time. Also known as serving on mission in Jerusalem and Judea.

Grace Behind Bars (Prison Ministry)

We exist to introduce inmates to Jesus and share the Gospel.

The most unchurched population in the U.S.

2.3 million people in the U.S. are affected by incarceration each year, the most unchurched population in our country. We are on a mission to change that.

We will stop at nothing to ensure every inmate in the U.S. has direct and personal access to the Gospel. We want to help them grow their faith, and allow every person behind bars to step into their calling as sons and daughters of the Most High.

It’s a simple fact that less than 15% of inmates are serving life sentences, and up to as many as 90% of all incarcerated individuals will be released back to society at some point. 75% of those released will return to prison within three years. Grace Behind Bars addresses this drastic recidivism problem with a unique approach that focuses on the spiritual, and relational needs of inmates and their families.

Serving time commitments are just 1 hour increments a couple of times a month. Partner with us our Prison Ministry team to help make a difference, Volunteer with us, no experience necessary -all training provided, men and women needed. Just complete this online registration form to get started or message me directly.
